The first stop was to see my daughter, Stephanie who lives over in the Spokane, WA area. It had been quiet a while since we’d seen each other so was very excited to get across the state and spend some time with her.
When we reached Spokane it was decided that we’d stay in Airway Heights at the Northern Quest Casino for the week. Really nice staff and huge parking lot for cars, trucks & rv parking. Down the street was a Walmart, laundromat, restaurants, gas, propane and a dumping station. How great was that!
I had lived in the Spokane Valley some 50 years ago when going to West Valley High School, however, so many things had changed over time. It was nice having Steph “show us around” while we were there.
While visiting we went out to Fort Spokane and picnicked on Lake Roosevelt, visited Medical Lake to a Veteran’s Memorial Park and took a scenic drive out north of Spokane. The weather couldn’t have been better. We all had a great time and it was so hard leaving. Here are some of the photo’s from the area.
Nice post and beautiful pictures!
